1. Start Recording
You can record system audio, the screen, specific areas, apps, or windows.
- Record system audio only
- In the main panel, click System Audio.
- After the countdown ends, system audio recording begins.
- Record the current screen
- Click Screen.
- The menu bar is included by default.
- You can turn the menu bar off in Settings if needed.
- Record a screen region
- Click Screen Area.
- Drag to select the target region.
- Recording starts after the region is selected.
- Record a specific app
- Click Application.
- Choose the target app from the list.
- Record a specific window
- Click Window.
- The app records the currently frontmost window.
2. Audio Recording and Mixing
- Record system audio and microphone together
- In the main panel, check the microphone box and select the device.
- In Settings → Output, check Record Microphone to Main Track.
- After recording, automatic post‑processing (Remux) runs. System audio and microphone audio are merged into one track.
- Enable microphone echo cancellation
- In Settings → Output, check Enable Acoustic Echo Cancellation.
- Adjust Audio Ducking Level as needed.
- Record only system audio or only microphone
- For system audio only: in the main panel, select System Audio only.
- For microphone only: check the microphone, and record via screen / region / window.
3. Video Output
- Format and codec
- Go to Settings → Output → Video.
- Choose MOV or MP4.
- Choose H.264 or H.265 (HEVC).
- Alpha channel recording
- In Output, check Recording with Alpha Channel.
- The app automatically switches to HEVC + MOV.
- Quality and resolution
- In the lower‑right corner of the main panel, adjust frame rate and compression quality.
- Resolution is calculated automatically based on content and scaling strategy.
