BeanFolio User Agreement

Effective Date: June 9, 2026

Welcome to BeanFolio! This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is entered into between you (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "you") and the developer of BeanFolio (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"), and sets forth the rights and obligations governing your use of the BeanFolio application (hereinafter referred to as "the App").

Please read and understand the entire content of this Agreement carefully before using the App. By starting to use the App, or by subscribing to/purchasing any paid services provided herein, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to all the terms of this Agreement.


1. Service Description

BeanFolio is a personal coffee journal tool designed to provide you with coffee bean profile management, brewing logs, and data insights. The App offers the following two service models:

  1. Free Version: Runs locally on your device. It supports unlimited brewing logs, basic statistics, data import, and other features, but limits the maximum number of active coffee beans in your inventory to 5.
  2. Pro Membership: A paid premium service. It unlocks advanced features on top of the Free Version, such as unlimited coffee beans, data export (CSV), and more.

2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (IAP) Terms

If you choose to subscribe to or purchase BeanFolio Pro, you agree to the following paid service terms:

  1. Subscription Services: We offer two auto-renewable subscription options: "Monthly Subscription" and "Annual Subscription".
  2. Free Trial: The Annual Subscription may include a free trial period. Within 24 hours prior to the end of the trial period, the system will automatically charge you and renew your subscription at the annual subscription rate. If you do not wish to subscribe, you must manually cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
  3. Auto-Renewal and Billing: Auto-renewable subscription services will automatically charge your Apple ID account for the next cycle within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
  4. Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, please manually turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period via your iOS device's "Settings" -> "Apple ID" -> "Subscriptions".
  5. Refund Policy: All in-app purchases and subscription transactions are processed through the Apple App Store payment system. The developer has no authority to issue refunds directly to you. To request a refund, you must submit a refund request directly to Apple, and the refund outcome will be determined by Apple in accordance with its platform policies.
