  • Python 3.10+
  • Required libraries: pandas, numpy, openpyxl, cryptography, boto3, Flask, etc.
• Exposes API: http://<EC2-IP>:5000/predict
• No UI available – interaction is via API or curl.

How to Use OptiChain Inventory Optimizer Lite

Step 1: Launch the AMI

• Visit the AWS Marketplace Listing.
• Click Continue to Subscribe.
• Click Continue to Configuration → select region and click Continue to Launch.
• Launch an EC2 instance using the AMI.
• Launch Method - One-click launch from AWS Marketplace (preferred)
• Choose:
  • EC2 Instance Type: t2.micro or t3.micro
  • VPC/Subnet settings
  • Security Group:
    • Allow TCP 22 (SSH)
    • Allow TCP 5000 (API access)
    • Set source IP to your IP (not 0.0.0.0/0)
• Launch instance.

Step 2: SSH into Your EC2 Instance

Download your EC2 Key Pair (.pem file) when launching the instance.

• If you don’t have one, create it in the EC2 launch wizard under “Key pair (login)”.
• This .pem file is your private key — never share it.
