User feedback
Funnel analysis - striving for 80% passthrough
In the first full month since launching (April 12 - May 12), 177 users found, downloaded, and opened the app. 133 users signed up. I do not have any goals or aspirations for the number of users in the app, but I would love for those who are using the app to find value.
I created a Slack bot to send me a message each day at 7pm with daily stats, which brings me a little bit of joy each evening.
When opening the application for the first time, new users will land on an authentication view where they are prompted to enter their US phone number to continue. After entering a six-digit code received via SMS, new users will enter the application, landing on a call to action prompting them to add their first plant.

Currently users can create an account and sign in with their US phone number. Although the app is only available in the US and Canada, I've received emails and App Store reviews citing issues with signing in using international phone numbers.

Once signed, a user will need to add at least one plant in order to access most functionality in the app. 85% of signed in users are signaling intent to add a plant after signing in by tapping one of two buttons prompting them to add a plant to their account. This could be improved, but
Most new users attempted to add a plant by tapping into the Add Plant "CTA" (62%). Users on iPhone 8 and 9 were notably less likely to tap in (40%), which might signal that there is a display issue on smaller screens.
