Now that our social media profiles have been renamed from FightPandemics to DoinGud, we recommend that all volunteers and new joiners should update their personal profiles to reflect the name change.

1. If you currently have your volunteer position on your profile as a job listing or volunteer experience, please open your position to edit it and manually adjust the company name.

2. Remove the FightPandemics position description and use the below blurb.

At DoinGud, it is our mission to empower humanity by providing an environment where communities anywhere in the world can collaborate, support one another, and become self-owned, self-sustained, and self-governed for the purpose of doing good. We are rapidly creating a community-owned, social marketplace for creators to transparently support the social impact organizations and causes that matter most to them. We evolved from FightPandemics, an altruistic platform created in the wake of COVID-19 that connects people and organizations in need of help with those that can provide it. In fostering these vital connections, we empower communities to respond more quickly and effectively to the crisis. We are a group of humanist volunteers that came together to make a difference and are actively looking for other highly-dedicated individuals to join us.

3. If you are a new joiner or a volunteer that hasn't added your job position to your LinkedIn profile please add your position with the above description. Please note, if your job outside of DoinGud doesn't allow you to have this as a job listing please add your DoinGud volunteer position under volunteer experience.
