Dare more: innovation results from challenging the status quo

We have a huge and ambitious mission: to achieve it, we need to disrupt the old ways of doing things. When there's a difficult problem in front of you, try to seek change. A new perspective. A new, bold take. Respect the rules of the game, but within them there's a lot to be explored.

Be fast: the faster we move, the faster we grow

Take decisions fast. When you're in doubt on how to move forward, err on the side of acting instead of waiting. Ship lightly, and rapidly: it's the best way to see what the world has to say and to adjust accordingly.

Keep pushing: compounding effects lead to powerful breakthroughs

Sometimes it's difficult to see the results of what we're making. Most of the times, huge outcomes are the result of a compounding process, where we invest each day and, at some point, we hit a threshold that unlocks exponential growth. Keep pushing, and trust the process. Focus on the input, focus on making the best out of your job: the output will follow naturally.

Be human: it all comes down to people

Being a tech-heavy company, it's easy to forget that at the end of the day we're in a people business. Our users are people: treat them will respect, even if they're behind a screen. Our investors are people too, and they can provide so much more than just money: they're our partners. We are people too, even though sometimes we might identify ourselves with the function we absolve. Empathy is a powerful tool at our disposal: leverage it.

Seek beauty: it makes things work better

Humans are naturally drawn by beauty: it's everywhere in our lives. Making what we build work is our primary concern, and beauty makes it work better. Try to write elegant code. Try to design elegant pitch decks. Try to design beautiful features. This is not as an excuse to go after perfection, or to move slowly until a Picasso is made. It's a mere testament of the fact that beauty is an integral part of the specifics, and therefore should be taken into consideration accordingly.

Stay curious: there's always something new to learn

Changing the environment we're living in requires changing our own selves. This simply means that we must keep learning. Be it a new technology, a new marketing technique, a new management tool, a new person providing a new perspective. This also means that you should never assume that since "it's always been like this", there's no need to investigate the matter any further: we're exploring uncharted territory, and this requires to constantly stay on top of new things.
