If we agree that we have a soul , and we have considered three different versions of what that looks like. Then there must also be three different ideas of a Universal Soul.

For the religious, the Universal Soul must be God.

For the agnostic or atheist, there is no Universal Soul. On death the flame of life within us is extinguished.

I consider the Universal Soul to be the source, from which our soul is drawn and to which it returns.
