Unburden is a voice-to-thought journaling app that helps you capture, categorize, and process your thoughts. We prioritize your privacy by storing your data locally on your device whenever possible.

2.1 Voice Recordings & Transcripts

• What: Audio recordings you create and their text transcriptions
• How: Recordings are transcribed using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework
• Storage: Transcripts are stored locally on your device. Audio recordings are not retained after transcription.

2.2 Thought Data

• Transcript content and categorization (Urgent, Later, Process)
• Creation and update timestamps
• Archive status
• Cognitive tags you select during the Process flow (e.g. "Catastrophizing", "Filtering")
• Reframe text you write during the Process flow
• Links to iOS Reminders and Calendar events (if you choose to create them)
