Wet Bat is a national travel agency chain that provides tour services to 50 countries around the world for thousands of families every year. Wet Bat creates around 200 quotes a day and provides on average 75 tours per month. Currently, they have a portfolio of 10,000 clients and revenue of $5,000,000 yearly.


🎯 Problem/Goal/Constraints

Problem

Planning and managing travel can be so fun, yet overwhelming. With an abundance of customers, tour choices, and prices that fluctuate every minute, Wet Bat staff need a way to manage their operation tasks efficiently, effectively, and within their constraints. They want to be globally recognized as a high-quality service provider, so they need to be able to invest more on the quality of service without reducing their profit margin.

Goal

The goal is to reduce their operational cost in half by creating a lean and efficient operation. In order to meet their main FY2019 strategic action, the goal is to design and implement an easy to use back-office solution that allows their staff:

Contraints

Since the majority of Wet Bat staff aren’t tech-savvy and they use a MacBook Pro as their main workstation, I decided to use a web solution. The solution should be accessible from a mobile phone, especially for the management team.
