How our E-Board selection process works:

The President, Vice President, and RSO Representative are elected by UPE members at our Second General Meeting every Fall. These positions must be elected by popular vote as per RSO rules. Not relevant for the E-Board App - Added it to FAQ

All other roles are appointed via application. If you are interested in any other role(s) please apply below. Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by our elections committee and if you are one of the finalists for any role(s) you will be contacted for an interview. Responsibilities and Expectations of ALL Executive Board Members

• Must be a UPE member (don't have to be an inducted member except for President) Added
• Must commit to a one-year term (Starting January in the Spring and ending December in the Fall semester) Added term to top of job description, so this doesn't need to be listed anymore
• Must attend weekly Executive Board meetings (Mondays at 8pm) Added
• Must attend all General Body Meetings, End of Semester Ceremony, weekly headline events, and other signature events (typically on Friday afternoons) Added
• Must commit a minimum of 15 hours of work per week, depending on the position Added
• Must be able to assist with events, activities, and other tasks as needed Add to skills as teamwork?
• Must communicate with the E-Board on a regular basis and stay engaged with our online community through Discord Add to skills as communication?
• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner by given deadlines Add to skills?
• Must be passionate about technology and aligned with our mission of creating a community that empowers students to succeed Add to skills?
• Must not be in a leadership position in another student organization during their term Added
