Unions are great, they take care of a lot of things the workplace doesn't so I’m glad I got the chance to meet with you.
IF MARRIED: And Spouse, how are you?
Spouse, are you a part of the union as well, or what do you do for work? (make comment about job… I bet you’ve seen a lot, Wow that’s quite a dangerous job, Wow that’s such an important job)
So before we begin, the union just has us ask a few questions to gauge your involvement…

How involved are you with the union, are you attending meetings? (Will usually say no/sometimes)
Do (at least) you keep up with the newsletters? (I get it, yall are pretty busy)
And is this your first meeting about your benefits?
Okay, well I’m glad I was able to get you guys on the call, again my name is NAME.
So what I do every year during your enrollment period, is go over all the benefits that they have set up for you and the other members. I will also fill out a report card at the end letting them know that I met with you, so if there is anything that they could do to better serve you as a member, please let me know and I will put that in the report as well. Sound good?
