TuneMover is designed with a privacy-first product architecture. Core workflows such as playlist parsing, song matching, and playlist migration are primarily completed locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud backend service for storing your playlist content or Apple Music credentials.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide or Authorize

When you use TuneMover, you may provide or authorize us to process the following information:

• Playlist links or shared URLs that you paste into the app
• Playlist metadata parsed from supported music platforms, such as playlist name, cover, creator, track list, artist name, album name, and related identifiers
• Access to your Apple Music account through Apple's official MusicKit authorization flow, so the app can create playlists and add songs to your library
• Support requests or emails you send to us, including any information you choose to include in your message

TuneMover does not collect or store your Apple ID account password. The Apple Music authorization process is handled by Apple.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide app functionality, TuneMover may store certain information locally on your device, including:

• Imported playlist details and matched song results
• Migration history and sync status
• Subscription status snapshots, pricing snapshots, and certain app preferences
• A locally generated analytics identifier used for product analytics if analytics is enabled

This locally stored data is used to restore imported records, show migration progress, improve the user experience, and support features such as retry and history.
