I used to think I needed to have everything figured out in order to be happy.
I used to believe I had to strike it big in my work - that the next big payday would finally bring fulfillment.
I thought success was the only way to earn love and care from the people around me.
But this mindset was toxic and unsustainable.
The truth is, I’ll never have it all figured out - there will always be problems to solve.
The next big payday will always have a bigger one after it.
And “success” is a moving target - there’s always someone ahead, always more to chase.
I’ve realized I’m not defined by what I have or the title I hold. Riches can disappear. Status can fade. Everything you think is permanent can vanish in a moment.
So who are you without all that?
You’re the person who can rebuild — who finds strength in the struggle and shows up for others even when you’re hurting.
You are your ability to rise again, to adapt, and to keep going when things get hard. That resilience - built through stress, setbacks, and silent battles - is your greatest strength. Put me in a stressful situation, and I know I can find my way through it. I trust myself to do that.
You are not your possessions. You are not your status. You are your character - the kind that endures the worst and knows how to appreciate the best.
