Help! My Actionfigure Box isn't working!

If you are noticing an issue with your Actionfigure Screen connection, we first suggest that you power cycle the device by unplugging it and plugging it back in to give it a hard reset. Also, please make sure that the device is completely plugged into your television via HDMI (on both ends), and that it is securely connected to the power source in your wall.

If your screen is giving you an error message (Network Connectivity Issue), the issue is related to the internet connection associated with your Actionfigure Box. Please chat with your IT team to make sure that there are no issues or changes with your network. If you can connect your IT Manager to our support team, we will gladly troubleshoot further.

My screen just shows a sad dinosaur. What should I do?

This dinosaur is sad because your Actionfigure Box is not successfully connected to the internet! This usually indicates that there is a firewall on your network that is preventing a full connection.

To solve this, you will have to have a member of your IT team whitelist some ports and URLs on the network. You can find that list here. Once this has been completed, your Actionfigure Screen should come up automatically.

How do I switch between Ethernet and WiFi?

We highly recommend that you use a hard-wired Ethernet connection for the best experience with your Actionfigure Screen. However, if that's not possible, a dedicated WiFi network will work as well.

If your Actionfigure Box is currently set to WiFi and you would like to change it to Ethernet, or the other way around, you can do so with the following steps:

  1. Plug a USB keyboard and (if possible) a USB mouse into the device.

  2. Restart the device by either pressing the power button or unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in.

  3. As soon as a small Google Chrome menu pops up, immediately press Ctrl + Alt + S. This must be done very quickly — if the Screen loads instead of taking you to a menu page, you will have to repeat this step.

  4. On the menu page, navigate to the clock in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you have a keyboard that does not have a mouse attachment, you can press the "tab" key on your keyboard to get to this part.

  5. Here, you will see network information. Select WiFi, select the network and enter the password.

  6. When it has connected, you can use your tab key or mouse to move back to the bottom left corner of the screen.

  7. Once you get to the icon that says “restart”, click enter and your screen should load normally. Alternatively, you can also restart your screen by unplugging it from its power source for 10 seconds before plugging it back in.
