TripMap is designed to keep your photo memories private. The app reads your photo library and photo location metadata on your device so it can show your photos on maps, build trip views, and create shareable images.

Information TripMap Uses

TripMap may use the following information on your device:

• Photos you choose to allow through iOS photo library permissions.
• Photo metadata, including date, time, and GPS location when available.
• Your current location only if you grant location permission for app features that need it.
• App settings and cached metadata stored locally on your device.

How Information Is Used

TripMap uses this information to:

• Display your photos on a map.
• Group photos into trips and places.
• Show profile statistics such as visited cities or countries.
• Render and export images that you choose to share or save.
• Remember local app preferences and cached metadata.

Data Collection and Sharing

TripMap does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your photos, photo metadata, and location information are processed on your device and are not uploaded to TripMap servers.

TripMap does not use third-party analytics, advertising tracking, or cross-app tracking.

Data Storage

TripMap may store app preferences and cached photo metadata locally on your device to improve performance and preserve your app experience. You can remove app data by deleting the app from your device.
