When do my benefits start?

You will be eligible for TriNet-sponsored benefits on the first of the month following your worksite waiting period, if applicable. If you are an existing worksite employee and have already met your waiting period, you will be eligible for benefits immediately. A waiting period is the amount of time between your hire date and your benefits eligibility date.

When do I need to enroll by?

You have 30 days from your benefits eligibility date to elect or waive benefits.

Where do I enroll?

After you receive the email with your Employee ID number and password, log in to TriNet (login.TriNet.com) to complete your enrollment.

Who can I cover on my benefits?

You may cover your spouse or domestic partner, your children up to age 26 (regardless of student status), and children of your domestic partner.

When can I make changes to my benefits?

After your initial enrollment period, you cannot change your benefit elections until the annual open enrollment period unless you experience a life status change event, such as marriage, divorce, end of domestic partnership, loss or gain of eligibility for an employer group benefits plan or the birth or adoption of a child (not an inclusive list). You must submit all life status change events to TriNet within 30 days of the event to be eligible to make changes to your benefits (60 days for a birth, adoption, or change in eligibility for a State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)). More details are available in the TriNet Benefits Guidebook available on TriNet (login.TriNet.com > Benefits > Resources).

You may make changes to your health savings account (HSA) contributions and your commuter benefits at any time.
