If you’re traveling to Peru for the wedding — welcome! We’re so happy to have you.

01 Airport

The main airport is Jorge Chávez International (LIM), located about 45 minutes from most central neighborhoods. From the airport, the best option is to take an official taxi service such as Taxi Green or Taxi Directo.

02 Getting Around

Getting around Lima is relatively easy with a few reliable options. For taxis, we recommend using apps like Satelital or Cabify — both are safe and widely used in the city. If you’re staying in Barranco or Miraflores, many spots are walkable.

03 Weather

Lima in late September is mild and spring-like. Expect cloudy mornings with a chance of sun in the afternoon. Temperatures usually range between 16–21°C (60–70°F), and rain is very unlikely. However, keep in mind that Lima is humid — so even if it’s not cold, it can feel cool and damp.

04 Accommodation

We recommend staying in either Barranco — artistic, bohemian, and perfect for walking (we live here!) — or Miraflores, which is safe, central, and close to the ocean.
