Why Transparency?

Transparency empowers people - it gives everyone context and an opportunity to be creative and help Moralis on its mission.

We treat everyone in our team as adults - meaning we share as much info with everyone as possible in order to empower everyone.

We trust each other to keep the confidential information secret.

Power of Transparency

Moralis is one of the most transparent companies in web3.

We interact with our community on a daily basis, share our roadmap, share the stories of our team and create an environment that is inviting and welcoming to people that just discovered Moralis.

We are also transparent internally.

All Slack channels are open by default - anyone can view and participate in almost any discussion.

We encourage discussions in public Slack channels in order to facilitate knowledge sharing and inclusion.

We share Moralis strategy, metrics, financials and a lot of other things with everyone who is interested in our team.

Moralis is our company - we run and build it together.

The more knowledge and information everyone has the more empowered each of us is to make correct decisions in our daily work.

Practical Transparency

  1. Documentation - we have to document as much as possible so that our work is transparent to all team members but also across teams - this will increase creativity, inclusivity which will lead to more contributions and more effective contributions
  2. Open Processes - means that we work in gitlab, everything is easy to follow, we provide context when we create new issues so future team mates or team mates from other teams can easily get up to speed and contribute.
