Coaching is transformative but can be financially out of reach for women of colour (henceforth WOC).

The Story behind the Transformative Coaching Fund

As an accredited coach and a woman of colour myself, I understand the various obstacles that someone who looks like me or from another marginalised background may face in order to access coaching - structural racism, financial burdens or past trauma, to name just a few.

Women of colour are not short of ambition, yet are underrepresented in all spaces in the UK - both as women and as ethnic minority.

We are missing out on their expertise, creativity and depth of perspective by (un)consciously excluding them from accessing coaching support.

Not only is their potential not being realised, this also has a knock-on effect on society AND the communities they're part of.
