This page links to resources for transferring WordStar files into the file formats used by other programs. The resources - import/export filters, etc. - aren't provided on this site, but may be obtained from the links below.
Where Microsoft Knowledge Base articles are referred to, these can be viewed on-line by using the Microsoft Site Search and entering the article number (in the form: Qxxxxx), or off-line as an email message by sending an email to Microsoft Help mshelp@microsoft.com with the article number as the subject. All referenced articles have this set as a link. Therefore you may just click on the link to the article, and then select Send in your email client. Microsoft Help will send you a message containing the article text.

To import or export WordStar 3.3, 3.45, 4.0, 5.0, or 5.5 format documents with microsoft Word for Windows 2 you need to make sure that you've installed the WordStar text import/export filter. This file was available on a supplimental file conversions disk that had to be ordered from Microsoft. If you don't have the disk you can download it from Microsoft's Web site.
