Thank you for using Touchline — Soccer Coach ("Touchline," "the app," "we," "us"). Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle.
The short version
Everything you enter into Touchline — teams, players, games, lineups, stats — stays on your device. We never see it. The only thing the app shares is anonymous usage statistics (which buttons get used, never what you typed), and you can turn that off in Settings at any time.
Your content stays on your device
The app lets you create teams, add players (names, jersey numbers, positions), plan game lineups, and track game stats. This information is:
Because this information never leaves your device, we have no access to it and cannot view, retrieve, or recover it. It is used solely to provide the app's features — for example, tracking who has played and who has sat during a game — and never for advertising or any other purpose.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand which features are useful and improve the app, Touchline collects anonymous usage events — for example, "a lineup was created" or "the match clock was started." These events include the feature used and basic device information (device model, iOS version, app version), plus a random identifier so we can count returning users. They never include player names, team names, opponents, stats values, or anything else you type into the app.
Children's privacy
Touchline is designed to be used by coaches, parents, and team organizers to manage youth recreational soccer teams. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Any player names or details entered are stored locally on the organizer's device and are never transmitted to us, and are never included in usage statistics. The app does not create profiles of children or use their information for any purpose.
Data deletion
Your content is under your full control: remove it at any time by deleting teams, players, or games within the app, or by deleting the app, which permanently removes all associated data. For anonymous usage statistics, turning off analytics in Settings stops any further collection; to request deletion of previously collected usage data, email us at the address below.
