This guide covers all the external services and accounts you'll need to run this blog writing system. Follow these steps to set up your credentials before you configure the workflows.


1. n8n Instance

Purpose: The core automation engine that runs all the workflows.

Prerequisites: An active n8n instance.

Setup Steps:

  1. Hosting: You can use n8n Cloud (recommended for ease of use) or self-host n8n using Docker.
  2. Installation: For self-hosting, follow the official n8n installation guide.
  3. Workflows: You will later import the system file into your instance.

Credentials in n8n:

All credentials you create below will be stored in your n8n instance under Credentials > Add credential.


2. 📄 Google Account (Drive, Sheets, Docs)

Purpose: Used as the central storage system for your keywords, article briefs, and final blog posts.
