Today isn't only about looking back at everything we've been through. it's about celebrating the person you've become in these 19 years. i hope today reminds you how deeply you're loved by everyone around you. when you turn 20, you'll be a year into college. whereas, I will be struggling with college decisions. i don't know what life has in store for both of us but I know my 18th and your 20th will be spent with the same laughter and quirky conversations in our DMs. all i hope is that today you smile, you laugh, you eat your favourite food. i hope you take as many photos as you can. i wish today to be as slow as possible and for you to enjoy every second of it. i hope, years from now, when you remember your 19th birthday, you're reminded of THIS. and smile. some people don't need occasions to matter. your birthday just gives me a reason to celebrate you. happy 19th.
