Titus Rodes has passionately devoted more than 20 years to the art of creating music. Early in his career as a vocalist, he earned 1st Runner-Up in Chicago Idol, which led to a musical scholarship at the Music Industry Workshop in downtown Chicago. He was also a finalist in other notable singing competitions, including NBC’s Gimme the Mic – Chicago and Univision’s Objetivo Fama.

Rodes later took his singing career to the stage when he joined the regional doo-wop a cappella group The Harbor Lights. The group provided an excellent opportunity to sharpen his performance skills, with regular appearances in sold-out theaters across the Midwest before hundreds of devoted fans. During this time, they also had the pleasure of performing alongside Smokey Robinson, backing him on classic hits such as “My Girl” and "Tracks of My Tears."

In addition to his a cappella work, Rodes performs with his original band, Titus Rodes Band (TRB), which has showcased its music throughout Northwest Indiana and the surrounding Midwest region.

One of Rodes’ notable collaborations includes producing music for a young artist from the Philippines named Reynan, the 1st runner-up on The Voice Kids. In March 2020, Titus Rodes assisted with the release of Reynan’s single “Hands Up,” which has garnered thousands of streams on YouTube.

Rodes also came close to signing a single recording contract with Kool & the Gang founder and manager Jerry Robinson through industry connections. His agent and attorney, Walter Alvarez, was assisting with the process, but unfortunately, the opportunity ended after the manager involved passed away.

Today, Titus Rodes is the founder of TR Music Productions, where he continues to perform, write, produce, and compose music for artists worldwide across multiple genres.
