This video walks through ChatGPT Projects: ✅What they are ✅Where to find them ✅The options you can adjust inside of them I’ve been updating my Foundations of Generative AI for B2B Marketing course to make sure it’s as current as possible. As part of the refresh, I recorded a brand-new ChatGPT paid account tour a couple of days ago. It’s a longer 24-minute lesson in the course, but I wanted to share this one short section of that tour here, because I think my community on LinkedIn will find it especially helpful. This part of the course isn’t about applying ChatGPT directly to B2B marketing (that comes later in the course). Instead, it’s a practical, introductory walkthrough so you can understand and navigate the platform fully. And in this clip, we're talking through Projects in this introductory context, specifically. If you’re curious about learning more about Projects, enjoy this snippet. And if you’re interested in going deeper, the full course is available to individual marketers, and I also have a lot of teams that take the course together. There's a 🔗 to more info including the syllabus, in my bio. (If you've got a team of 6+ people who you would be interested in having take the course together, please reach out directly and I can share group info with you) One more note 👉 If you’ve recently been affected by a marketing layoff and are in between roles without the financial means to purchase the course, I have a scholarship request form available. This is specifically for professionals in transition who want to build their skills while they look for their next opportunity. If that's you, please fill out this form: https://lnkd.in/ej2GCt7V

Down below GPTs, you're gonna see a section called projects. Projects are kind of like GPTs in some ways and totally different in other ways. I'm gonna make a very quick project so I can show you what it is, and again, this is something we'll get a lot deeper into later in this course. So I'm gonna click the new project button and I'm going to just title it Course. Demo and I'm gonna hit Create Project and it's gonna go to work and it's going to make me this new project. And once it has created it, you're gonna see this interface. Now this is the interface you're gonna see anytime you open a project. You can click on the name and edit it. You can add an emoji icon, so I can make it a green and I could make it look like a notebook and hit save, and now my project is gonna have the icon with the green color. Now that I've created the basis for this project, what is a project? This is essentially a file where you are working inside ChatGPT. So I can now have ChatGPT conversations just like I would in a regular ChatGPT. But they're all going to get saved together. That's the first thing that makes a project unique is they organizationally get saved together. Second is that I can have files that I add and upload that anytime I'm using the project, any conversation I have in the project can access those files, which can be really helpful and handy. And then up here there are these three dots where I can have instructions, so I can have specific directions for this project. This could be context, this is could be voice style guidelines of exactly how you wanted to respond. There is an unlimited number of ways you could do this, but these instructions are going to apply to every single conversation you have in this project. So, for example, if I say always. Speak like an alien space cowboy. I dunno what an alien space cowboy talks like, but we want our project to always speak like one. So I'm gonna save that. Now, those instructions are going to apply to every single conversation I have in here inside of this project, but not to other things that I do inside a ChatGPT. And then with the edit project button, you can change the name of the project and you can adjust settings around the project's, memory of the chats that you have in the project. We'll talk about other things with memory later, but that is where you would find it. And finally, with your project, you can share it. So if I want to, I can click the share button and I can share this project with other members of my team. It works a lot like, like a Google Doc of who can share it, how you share it. Now, unlike a GPT where if you share it, you're only sharing the tool with a project, you're also sharing the conversations with anybody who has shared access to the projects. You all can see each other's conversations with ChatGPT if they live inside that project. If I have a conversation in my project, I could say, hi, ChatGPT, say hello and we see that it wrote back. Howdy there. Star wonder, how's the cosmic trail treating you today? Because remember we had those instructions to speak like an alien space cowboy. Now when I go back to my project, my course demo project, you're gonna see that chat here, not on the left hand side where you would find other chats you have with ChatGPT. So it's gonna live inside your project, under the starting chat box, if you click the three dots right here, you have the option to rename that chat, move it to a different project, et cetera, um, delete it, all of those things.
