<aside> 🔑 Connection to Scaling: Technology must be integrated to improve the quality of Kidogo's ECDs. Sustaining quality is an important first step to scaling. To have technology in ECDs in East Africa, security measures will need to be created and enforced. Considering the cultural implications of this, we have included security measures and more details about our ideas like using VR for increased childhood development.

Action Plan

1. VR For Childhood Development

<aside> 💡 We recommend integrating Virtual Reality (VR) technology in Kidogo ECDs to help train stronger cognitive function.

The first step for this program is funding for VR headsets and games. This is in part two of the action plan.

After funding is obtained, we recommend every ECD having one VR headset and if this is not possible selected ECDs in every region. Parents can choose to send their children to those ECDs, if that's something of interest to them.

Every ECD that has the VR program will have one headset, that can be used in conjunction with the mamas phone. Children can have scheduled slots to train their cognitive skills via virtual games and curriculum. These children should be 6-8 and can use it for a 20 min time frame at a time. This will reduce disorientation, after taking off the headset.
