They offer lessons for both skiing and snowboarding, and also have a tubing park! You can walk up and reserve things, I believe theres a small discount if you reserve online (72 hours in advance). They also make their own snow. We can go here Saturday before check-in or Sunday before we go home. They also offer half day rentals.
This is very close to our house, may or may not have snow based on the weather they get this week.

Quaint little village to stroll through by the lake. There's a lot of shops (souvenirs & goodies), restaurants and bars.
We found some amazing pizza here last time we went.
Small scenic park, contains a picnic area and ramp out to the lake. Probably good for photos.
