It replaces and extends the Home IQ Weather Impact chart. Additional features include custom groupings, infinite data storage, intelligent Gap Fill, and Smart Scale.

Data

This chart shows you cumulative runtimes for your heating and cooling plotted against outdoor temperature. This is especially useful for analyzing long-term trends and determining if changes to your home resulted in cost and efficiency savings.

Multi-Stage Systems

If your heating or cooling system utilizes multiple stages, understand that the displayed runtime for each stage is when only that stage was running. Earlier stages are not considered to be running when later stages are active.

For example: If stage 1 is on from 4am to 6am, then stage 2 is on from 6am to 10am, this chart will show two hours of stage 1 and four hours of stage 2.

Auxiliary heat does not count as a stage and is not subject to the same rules because it can be running at the same time as your primary heat source.

Features

Date Range & Grouping

One of the really nice features of the Runtime Summary chart is that you are free to customize the date range and grouping however you like.

A few sensible defaults are provided for you. If you would like more control, select the Custom option from the card menu.

Gap Fill

Gap Fill is a simple but useful feature that attempts to resolve problems with missing data caused by network and service outages.
