Themes & Overlay Customization

The VN overlay appearance is fully customizable. You can pick from 6 built-in themes or configure every element individually through the Overlay Config Editor.

Built-in Themes

Select a theme in Module Settings under "Dialogue Theme". Each theme changes the dialogue box, nameplate, choice buttons, system bar, and advance cursor.

Theme Style
Default (Persona) Dark angular panels with red accents. SVG-based buttons.
Elegant Ornate borders with warm gold tones.
Indigo Clean modern design with deep blue accents.
Detective Dark noir style with muted tones.
Fantasy Medieval-inspired panels with parchment textures.
Romance Soft pastel colors with gentle gradients.
SF Futuristic HUD-style panels with neon accents.

Changing the theme immediately replaces all overlay assets, colors, and layout settings with the theme's defaults.

Overlay Config Editor

Open Module Settings and click the Open Settings button next to "Open Overlay Customize". The Overlay Config Editor opens.
