This is an overview of an immPACC Map. We are going to go over the part of the map, what the tokens mean and when to use them.

All of these tokens and their descriptions are also in the Miro immPACC Map template for you to use in your immPACC Mapping sessions.
These are placed next to the map and not locked down so you can duplicate them and move the onto your map during a session.
Existing Immunization Service Card
You can pre-fill these before the session if you want to, to speed the start of the session. We suggest you do not put them on the map before the session, instead put them on, talk about each one, while showing how the process works.
New Immunization Clinic Idea Card
We use the grey cards for new, general ideas for immunization supports that are not so tied to a specific persona.
Duplicate this card and place on the map at the approximate area to document ideas for new services (e.g. physical clinics, pop up clinics, mobile units, etc.). You can use these in the "Other Ideas" section as well for new ideas that do not fit a specific geographic location.
Question Cards
Duplicate this card and place in the "Question / Parking Lot" section on the map to record questions or issues that come up that cannot be answered by the group in the session. This is very useful when you need to leave an issue in order to move the conversation forward. It is also helpful to have these when you are working on your feedback report as these often are follow-up actions for the group.
Location Markers
For some sessions, it can be helpful to use location markers. For example, you might want to use these to highlight specific buildings or other related services.
Also, in rural settings, you might want to use these to highlight smaller towns.
For each persona, there are two icons (shown below). We have added these to the template, and you can create your own, if you have created your own persona.
We place the larger Persona Name Tags on the map in the persona section and then lock them down when we lock the map (before the session). The pictures makes it easier for people to see the persona's face.
When creating your map board, you can change the background colour for your personas in case two personas you want to use have similar colours in the template.
These smaller tokens are used to show which immunization ideas would be a good fit for the persona. You show that by duplicating the token and placing it on the ideas that fit.
We place these off to the side of the Miro map frame so they are accessible to the facilitators. DO NOT LOCK THESE BEFORE THE SESSION.
We have created a comprehensive immPACC template you can use to create your own board. Follow the link and then click "use template" to create a new board. It takes a minute but will then load a board with the miroverse template we have created in your browser.
Assuming you are logged into Miro at the time, this will also be created in your account using the default name "immPACC Mapping by UBC Innovation Support Unit"
