Once a thriving industrial park on the edge of a Los Angeles, The Rustlands have been turned into a grim but functional base for scavengers and traders. The buildings here are all half-collapsed, rusting away, but they offer decent cover and plenty of hidden places to store supplies. The Rustlands aren’t exactly safe, but they serve as a hub for those who live by trading whatever they can scavenge from the ruins of the old world. It’s a rough place, with no real leadership—just a loose network of people trying to scrape by. The Rustlands is where you go if you’re looking for something specific, or if you’re desperate and willing to take a risk.

Places
There are Devils and there are Angels. And here in The Rustlands, there are Reapers. They reside in the Reaper’s Graveyard, the first line of defense (and last), the upperground city provides.
The Farm is quite the spectacle, with its trusty farmer, there is never a lack of food to eat. As long as you don’t question the meat.
Within the depths of the subway, there lies the Everlight Commune, and at the helm is the Saintess Matron. With stained glass windows (all of which are suspiciously colored red) and a sturdy singular door, there is always room for a weary traveler. As long as you leave a donation. It’s only fair.
Wrath’s Ring is where the stakes are high and the rewards are higher. You could win a month’s worth of food, donated generously from The Farm, or a private meeting with Mammon. But of course, that’s if you can survive.
No one person holds true power, as everyone understands the unspoken worth of the other. But, there are some who know more then the rest. And as they say, knowledge is power.
