Once the Design Sprint is confirmed:
- Schedule a 30min call with the main stakeholder and go through the following:
- ask them to provide you with a list of all the project stakeholders (give them a starting document)
- ask about a target kick-off date (this might change)
- collect any existing resources (audits, customer interview transcripts, etc)
- Do short, 30 min calls with all team members to get their unbiased view on the challenge (if you have a large group, ie. 12 people, you can have a sessions with everyone at once)
- Assemble your Sprint team & get their availability
- Fix the Sprint start date & send out calendar invites
- Use the Miro template and set it up & invite everyone
- Perform an in-depth problem framing analysis by looking at existing qualitative and quantitative data
- Complete the Sprint brief and share with everyone
- Hold a Design Sprint intro session (and Miro training, if remote) to explain what will happen in the Design Sprint and manage expectations
A few days before the Sprint starts:
- Have a quick, 15 min call with the Sprint team to explain what's going to happen & present the tool you'll be using and template (in Miro)
- Prepare any relevant resources in advance (lightning demos, HMW's, Map)
- Make sure everyone confirmed their participation
