Once the Design Sprint is confirmed:

  1. Schedule a 30min call with the main stakeholder and go through the following:
    1. ask them to provide you with a list of all the project stakeholders (give them a starting document)
    2. ask about a target kick-off date (this might change)
    3. collect any existing resources (audits, customer interview transcripts, etc)
  2. Do short, 30 min calls with all team members to get their unbiased view on the challenge (if you have a large group, ie. 12 people, you can have a sessions with everyone at once)
  3. Assemble your Sprint team & get their availability
  4. Fix the Sprint start date & send out calendar invites
  5. Use the Miro template and set it up & invite everyone
  6. Perform an in-depth problem framing analysis by looking at existing qualitative and quantitative data
  7. Complete the Sprint brief and share with everyone
  8. Hold a Design Sprint intro session (and Miro training, if remote) to explain what will happen in the Design Sprint and manage expectations

A few days before the Sprint starts:

  1. Have a quick, 15 min call with the Sprint team to explain what's going to happen & present the tool you'll be using and template (in Miro)
  2. Prepare any relevant resources in advance (lightning demos, HMW's, Map)
  3. Make sure everyone confirmed their participation
