Who are you, and what do you bring to the table?
This step helps individuals understand their strengths, values, transferable skills, personality traits, learning style, and motivations.
What to do:
- List your top strengths and soft skills.
- Identify achievements from non-tech roles.
- Reflect on what energizes vs. drains you.
- Map your transferable skills to tech (communication, analysis, problem-solving, sales, creativity, etc.).
- Identify your non-negotiables: salary needs, lifestyle, work preferences.
