Governing: Focused on net worth and popularity among people. The government was led by numerous individuals that once worked for the conglomerate on Earth. These higher ups likely had memory connected to a 'Master Vault' where all of their memories, company records and other vital information were stored. Existence of this Master Vault also proves that many N.D.C. higher ups 'cheated death' by uploading their consciousness into robotic vessels to continue ruling in the government.
The presence of simple robotic vessels carrying centuries of knowledge and a personality would provoke paranoia and anxiety in many newer members of the government. Only the original owners of the conglomerate were allowed to 'cheat death' by such experimental ways, this is where the concept of Adros Reality came from that's now been adapted by Eugia Insurgency.
N.D.C. founded logistics companies across the entire world, they also controlled a large portion of the market by selling electronics. A couple decades into their existence, N.D.C. was able to become one of the most influential conglomerate identities on Earth.
The political and environmental unrest on Earth motivated N.D.C. to leave Earth and start fresh on a new planet. Udyria's discovery fueled this goal until N.D.C. was able to financially support themselves to build a space station, and by cooperating with the largest space agencies, they left Earth behind. This raised philosophical and existential questions, as migrating to another planet would mean a fresh start and leaving behind their home world. Finding a reason to begin a new economy on an alien planet was an unexplainable thought process for only the most crazed minds. The Confederates did not stop there, however, and grew obsessed with the cosmos. Upon Udyria’s expansion, they stretched far into the infinite cosmos, colonizing other planets as well.
The 'Confederate' part about this nation stems from their origin and formation, as the N.D.C. simply functions as a banner for many Earth nations that migrated to this planet. The New Dominion Confederation was a simpler name for many of the smaller states that were within this nation.
Migration and settling on an alien planet led to many cultural problems such as merging of cultures and suffocation of many cultural traditions under the newgen ways. New languages formed from this sudden change and nations that were once recognized by their respectful names on Earth were reformed as very different. A great example of this can be the majority of European nations that were involved with the stargazing program: by the end of their migration period, the countries were no longer known as separate, but an 'European Plate'.
Corporate Policies: The project N.D.C. called 'Stargazing' was accompanied by strict, dehumanizing rules that would involve deep censorship, death penalties and hired killers that would assure no information would be leaked to Earth. These policies would also be applied to other large corporate identities that worked with N.D.C.
