The Valuthist Land of Lithuis, The Monarchy, Lithuis Monarchy
The Valuthist land of Lithuis lost a large portion of its territory over the span of the last three centuries. Numerous villages were pillaged by revolutionist communities or were declared as ‘independent city states’ and have been that ever since. Humanity also influenced this loss, being the aggressors that unintentionally –or not– provoked many fiefdoms into revolting and demanding freedom.
While there are relics that hint of glorious cities, endless fertile valleys and culture, most villages belonging to the Monarchy have become separate cities that are now shared by humans and danthicals. Previously villages under the Monarchy’s rule, now ghosts of the past. Most of these cities were shaped by the war: turning into refugee communities or tight knit settlers that turned their back to the face of the terror that plagued the continent for at least five years. The most active monarch communities are to the South of Virbusk mountains and by the Eastern shores.
The Monarch family is at the brink of its end, with only a couple true members of the family now alive. The current monarch, Sumuthar, rules what’s left of the kingdom, but out of desperation, he’s adapted Confederate ways of ruling to preserve the strong bond between his kin and the human race, while pushing away all of those that do not stand by it as the consequence. Sumuthar is the bridge between peace and revolution, suffocating under the pressure of both parties.

The Monarch's league began 243BHA, when Vailuthus crowned himself as the first monarch after his father fell as the last leader of the Great Tempus. Vailuthus built the first republic from scratch.
Vailuthus' leadership was not easy, as to the remnants of the Great Tempus, he was nothing but a mere outsider. His father belonged to a foreign nation that ruled over the Great Tempus during its last years of existence, rendering Vailuthus as a leech determined to claim its remains as his own for his own greed.
The Monarchy of Lithuis was then born despite the unfortunate circumstances. The young monarch united pieces of what once used to be one of the largest nations on Udyria and his league has continued in his path.
To push back the Great Tempus’ ghost haunting the newborn Monarchy, Vailuthus ordered the creation of a new currency that would replace the previous one. A Ramshorn Tich (or just Tich) was born and the currency has become broadly accepted among other societies as well.
Lithuis' economy has been primarily fueled by trading and even slavery in the past. Their first two centuries of existence had focused on becoming economically stable through trades and craftsmanship. Lithuis developed a trading center in the Kahpt'zla islands, its position proved itself advantageous thanks to its distance between the Eastern and Western Globe. During the war, the Monarchy found money running through dealing machinery and guns, selling this technology to the other danthical nations that were far behind. At this point in time, Lithuis relies on trade once more.
Primary materials that Lithuis provides other societies with is enriched iron, a material similar to the one on Earth with better qualities, but flaws that make it unfavorable by humans for the same reasons Udyrian Wood is not liked by the alien inhabitants. When Lithuis allied with humanity, they were quick to expand their knowledge on human technology and implement their own, humanity's arrival pushed the nation forward technologically, this allowed them to be ahead of other danthical nations and eventually profit off of it.
The Monarchy finally fractured into two ideological branches: the Confederatic and the Terranphobic. During this divide, a new faction emerged — The Linthian Ascendancy — originally functioning as a peacekeeping force. It protected culturally significant sites and ensured no public uprisings escalated into mass violence.
Auderne existed at this point only as an anonymous collective. Individuals with shared beliefs gathered in secret, vandalizing the Monarchy’s streets without yet adopting a formal identity.
