This blog was created based on my thoughts about morality and what the meaning of life is using a combination of rationalism and evolutionary psychology. Whenever I heard this kind of 'meaning of life' or 'bad vs evil' debate, I always knew there was distinctions missing in the discussions. This is meant to provide a hierarchy for this debate along with other information and thoughts on the topic.

Which of the following is true?

<aside> ❓ You are the most important person in the world. Nobody else except for your loved ones come close to that importance. You are the only thing that matters.

<aside> ❓ You matter but not in the way you think. All you are useful for is replicating your DNA and passing it on. Your only function is for the continuation of the human race.

<aside> ❓ You don't matter one bit. You are useless. Actually, you aren’t even useless because usefulness does not exist in a universe where use is not measured.

I want you to think about which one of the three above polarizing, oversimplified takes resonate with you the most.

Odds are you would choose the first one, or if you were an intellectual you would choose the second one. The truth is, all three of the above are correct at the same time.
