The Master Phone

The Master Phone is an omnipotent communication tool designed exclusively for Game Masters. Unlike regular devices tied to a specific actor, the Master Phone gives you global access to the world's communication network, allowing for monitoring, interception, and impersonation.

1. Accessing the Master Phone

As a GM, you can switch to the Master Phone instantly at any time.

• Look at the header (top frame) of the Smartphone Widget.
• Click the Toggle Button (often looks like a switch or a special GM icon).
• Your phone interface will switch to the Master Phone mode. You can toggle it back to your personal phone (if assigned) by clicking it again.

2. Global Monitoring (Messages App)

On the Master Phone, the Messages App functions as a global wiretap.

• View All Conversations: You can see every chat room existing in the world, including private 1:1 messages between players and secret group chats.
• Participant Identification: Since you are not a participant, 1:1 chat room titles are displayed as "Participant A ↔ Participant B" to help you easily identify who is talking to whom.
• Real-time Updates: Just like a regular phone, you receive message updates in real-time.

3. Impersonation Mode (Messages App)

The most powerful feature of the Master Phone is the ability to intervene in conversations seamlessly.

• Enter Any Room: Open any chat room from the list.
• Impersonation Bar: At the bottom of the chat screen (above the input area), you will see a special Impersonation Bar marked with a spy icon (🕵️).
• Select Actor: Use the dropdown menu to select which participant you want to speak as.
• Send Message: Once selected, typing and sending a message will make it appear exactly as if that character sent it.

4. Omniscient Contacts & Quick Chat (Contacts App)

The Contacts App on the Master Phone ignores normal contact exchange rules.
