The Inflatables are a London rock band originally formed in 1984, known for their high-energy live shows that fused classic rock muscle with punk attitude and a pop-leaning jangle. During their early years they played extensively across London, including notable shows at venues such as Dingwalls and The Wag Club, and famously supported The Housemartins.
Reuniting in 2024, the band returned with renewed purpose and a raucous live response that quickly led to the creation of new material. Drawing on lived experience and a wide palette of influences — from Blondie, The Pretenders and Stevie Nicks to classic blues, rock and jazz — The Inflatables now deliver driving, emotionally direct songs with urgency, grit and melodic punch.
