Venture is full of noise, about differentiation, DPI, and the next allocation. But before any of that, there is the quieter question: Am I meant to do this?
The Fund 0 Circle is a small 3-month cohort of peers discerning whether to raise a first fund, or GPs who have raised less than $10M to date.
The greatest investors of our last generations are marked by a rootedness in their convictions, a thoughtful approach to their thesis, and a relentless awareness of doing what they were meant to do. The Fund 0 Circle exists to make room for exploring these aspects of investing that seem to have been forgotten in the noise.
Venture capital has become saturated with sameness: funds that sound alike, invest alike, and think alike. But genuine differentiation emerges from within, not from sharper branding or better pitch decks.
Over three months, participants will do the slower, deeper work of clarifying what they are uniquely called to build into an investment lens that cannot be replicated.
The outcome will be readiness to raise a fund with clearer articulation around the fund strategy, convictions, personal story, and guidance around forming meaningful relationships with LPs.
