Sylvain Schmück (He/Him)

Managing Director & Technical Game Designer


Game designer at first, Sylvain likes audacious and surprising features and is able to quickly prototype them. His deep knowledge of UE4 allows him to set up and document efficient pipelines, teach the team and write tutorials. As a natural problem-solver, he loves to challenge everyone’s ideas to find better solutions and increase the overall game’s quality. He’s driven by the desire to achieve extreme coherence between the feel and the fantasy of the games he works on.

Game & Narrative Designer


Adrien loves to think about artistic creation and creative processes. He is fond of quirky ideas and comedy. Besides En Garde!, he has won several awards for some of the student projects he worked on. He likes to find small ideas that will make the difference, and he is a very versatile designer, always willing to learn new skills to fill the gaps in the game’s production.

Coming from a trilingual multi-cultural background, Julien has a passion for illustration and visual arts. He fuels his love of worldbuilding with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Ever in search for the right balance between thorough research and whimsy. He has been working as a freelance artist with a flexible skill set for several years, taking a lead artist role on lore-rich board game projects.

Valentin plays and studies a lot of games, from old school classics to new releases, with a strong interest in rational game design. Multi-skilled, he can work on all aspects of a game’s design, including level design and quest design. He also knows how to organize, supervise and analyze playtest sessions. Last but not least, he's the team’s beloved web designer & developer.

Tim wants to create meaningful experiences that send inspiring messages to the players. His wide set of skills allows him to create games by himself, and he participates in a lot of game jams and indie events. Pierre is the main programmer of the team but also the main party-goer. AI and gameplay developer by day, music producer by night, he’s a cheerful individual and a great team-worker. Selected from many candidates, he joined the Ubisoft Graduate Program right after his graduation.

With a taste for environmental narration, an acute sense for color and the curiosity to dive into the technical stuff, Andréa is able to build striking and coherent worlds that convey subtle emotions.
