Company Introduction/Requirements

The Coffee and Cake business is a newly incorporated Limited Liability business in United Kingdom under the Companies Act with one major shareholder. The business will start by selling roasted coffee before moving to cakes and will accept customised orders for wholesale/corporate gifting. To minimise cost, the business wants to utilise an ERP solution at incorporation and take full advantage of efficiencies it will (hopefully) provide.

After extensive review, the solution chosen was ERPNext due to its ability manage the order-to-manufacture-to-delivery process.

Key System Requirements

• ERPNext must be the single safe source for all transaction
• ERPNext must remain in original state without code modification to enable rapid updates
• End to end manufacturing process must be captured on ERPNext
• Standard Costing method will be used
• Manufacturing dashboards should be available for instant status

  • SL-1 on sandbox for £2.99 ex VAT is sufficient for running ERPNext including the ecommerce site.
• Cloudflare will be used for DNS management
