What is a ‘Capsule Wardrobe’?

It’s a curated collection of 30–40 versatile, high-quality staples designed to be mixed, matched, and lived in. Focus on timeless style, reduce decision fatigue, and embrace sustainable, slow fashion.

What is ‘The Capsule Wardrobe Database’?

This is a documented experiment in slow fashion. Here, I’ve cataloged my current capsule wardrobe and the staple items that form the backbone of my style. Consider this a resource for building your own curated collection.

A Note: Have Your Own Personal Style

In general, this is meant for you to find pieces that speak to your own style, which you can mix around with other pieces, oh, and perhaps even jazz up with accessories! Accessories make an outfit. I say this because if you just layer basics on basics, with none of your own flair, you might end up looking like a Carolyn Bessette Kennedy knockoff wannabe, which is tragic because she passed away in a plane crash and also, have a point of view, jeez.

My point here? Turn your capsule wardrobe into ‘your own’, have a perspective, and develop your own sense of style by using basics as a foundation.
