<aside> 💡 Today is May 20, 2024, making the 10th anniversary of the Smartisan T1 launch event, a significant milestone in my current timeline.

Ten years ago, I took a train from Hangzhou to Beijing to attend the event, which profoundly impacted my life. This was Smartisan Technology’s most successful event, with Mr. Luo delivering an exceptional presentation. As a poor student, I immediately purchased the T1 for over ￥3,000 to show my support. Being there in person made my experience unique.

A decade has flown by, but the details of this trip remain vivid.

I still clearly remember squeezing into a rental house in an urban village with “King of Glory”(a friend from World of Warcraft), eating expensive beef cuisine with Mr. He, visiting several famous Beijing landmarks with previous classmates, and touring Evernote’s Beijing office as a devoted user.

I even impulsively visited the Motorola building(the headquarters of Smartisan Technology), not knowing I’d intern there a year later.

The day of the launch, I went to Sanlitun for lunch, where Xin treated me to the famous Huang Taiji pancakes. I arrived at the venue early, resulting in this photo, and experienced Google Glass for the first time.
