While it wasn't his larger bed at home, and having to share this smaller space with the clingy blond-maned lion, Rihnn had surprisingly slept well enough. Even with that short nap he stole yesterday afternoon, he slept soundly, tangled in the limbs of his still sleeping partner. The cooler coastal air in the evening kept him comfortable, even with Yazka's warm body pressed against his. The sun peaked through the blinds and onto his face, causing him to quietly groan and rub one of his eyes. Rihnn was currently laying on his back; left arm under Yazka's pillow, body tilted sideways, his left leg had curled somewhere around one of Yazka's, and he could feel the little lion's left arm wrapped around his neck with his paw bunched up in his purple mane.

Blinking his sleepy eyes open more, he turned his head to the left to try to glance at Yazka, who seemed to have had his face buried in his neck, hiding his face from the incoming sun. There was... an odd sensation tickling his chest and his throat. The beginnings of a purr that sounded like it hadn't seen the light of day in ages; husky and a little muted. But as he heard this... content noise his body and mind seemed to have created of its own volition, Rihnn stopped it before it could get any louder and wake Yazka. But... why? Why would he stop his purring?

I... shouldn't be ashamed of being happy... Happy waking up and finding you still by my side.

However, with these thoughts, Rihnn still found himself nuzzling his nose against Yazka's forehead, grazing his dry lips over the archer's hairline. "Hrrmmm..."

It wasn't the first time Yazka shared the bed with Rihnn for the night, and he had often enough sneakily cuddled closer to the taller man during some of them. But this time somehow felt a little different. Not only because of the more limited space, but likely also because of the conversation they had before he fell asleep. In Dravania it was often the warmth of the scaled body Yazka sought after. But here? It was warm enough. He was home. He was back at a place he felt nothing but comfortable and loved.

And still he had subconsciously wrapped his left arm around Rihnn's shoulders and neck and had gripped some of his purple hair as if he had the fear that the man next to him would disappear if he didn't hold on to him. Yazka had some trouble finding sleep because of his newly alerted mind due to their conversation and its topic. The little lion couldn't fully remember what he had dreamed or the details that had kept him from falling asleep, but it had remained some kind of heaviness in his heart during the night that let him lean even closer towards Rihnn.
