Downstairs, Yazka and his mother continued to enjoy their conversation, waiting for Rihnn to return, but when that didn’t happen for longer, Yazka guessed that the dragon's need for solitude had won over his politeness. Yazka didn’t blame him. And he was glad that his mother didn’t mind that at all, too.

They stood up after a while, putting the rest of the snacks away, cleaning the cups and plates. Just existing, chatting and laughing together. Yazka perked an ear up toward the hallway and stairs in between to listen if Rihnn wanted to come down again and join them once more, but after a while he settled on the couch in the living room with his mother.

“How are the people in Dravania?” Axuma asked, turned a bit towards her son sitting to her left, the colorful cushions on their couch comfortably embracing their backs.

“They have just survived a time of trouble because of the Dragonsong War, and it's still palpable in man and dragon alike. They are a distrusting and strong people, but Ishgard is still recovering from all this as well, and many citizens have difficulties adapting to its change of government and other things. I was mostly in the Forelands and it's a harsh land for sure. B'rihnn showed me around in my first weeks there and he only did so because I came on Vrtra's behalf,” Yazka explained a bit more seriously.

“He told me that the place he calls home is dangerous and rather harsh,” the Au Ra replied with an understanding nod.
