Overview

Tempo is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

All data you enter — tracker names, descriptions, dates, and progress — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This data is never transmitted to any server.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following is stored locally on your device only:

• Tracker items (name, description, target dates, completed days)
• App preferences (theme, language, notification settings)
• Subscription status (managed entirely by Apple)

This data is shared between the main app and the Tempo widget on your device via Apple's App Group entitlement. It never leaves your device.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Tempo schedules local notifications on your device. These are processed entirely by iOS — no notification data is sent to any external server.

You can disable notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Tempo.
