Invite your a small group (6 is a good number) of friends, family members, co-workers, church buds, teammates, the group chat, etc to do the work with you. Here's an email template for you to modify and send to your friends:
Subject: Let's start a "Deconstruction" group
Email: I found the Deconstruction: Anti-Racist Media and Action Guide, and am excited to do this meaningful work. I am organizing a small group of friends to learn together and hold one another accountable.
We will read books and articles, watch movies, and listen to podcasts then get together to have honest discussions about what we've learned. The discussions will be heavy, but we'll provide a judgement-free safer space because we are learning together.
Meetings will likely take about 2 hours. We will decide together how often to meet.
