The Product team works in the intersection of Strategy, Product Design, and Engineering to deliver features from the very early ideation stage to a live and functional part of our products, like the FightPandemics Help Board and the DoinGud Marketplace. A Product Manager will work on a PRD (Product Requirements Document) which details the value of the feature for the humans and ourselves as organisation, how it should work, and further details to determine when it can be considered done and good quality. They will collaborate with Designers of different kinds to make sure the User Experience is optimal, and produce designs for Engineering to develop, which Quality Assurance will then use, along with the PRD, to determine whether the feature is ready to go live. But that's not where the cycle ends- Product collaborates with BI (Business Intelligence) to establish metrics we wish to track around the use of the new feature, so we can decide on improvements that can be made based on real user data.
