BubbleDAO is all about bringing together different "bubbles" within Web3 to foster diversity and inclusion in the space.
As the Web3 ecosystem developed, we noticed that different cliques started forming- developers only mingling amongst themselves, artists left out of conversations with developers, women feeling marginalized, the LGBTQ+ community feeling like there wasn't enough of a community for them, etc.
So, we started throwing parties. The best way to break down these walls and get people together is if we bring everyone from all walks of life into one room... hence one "bubble."
More collaboration and innovative ideas started forming as people from differing backgrounds mingled. We started seeing an uptick in women and minority attendance at our events. Other DAOs with shared stories began reaching out to partner together on pushing our missions. The immense benefits of getting together in real life are countless.
What we plan on doing is to continue organizing IRL Web3 events not just across NYC, but across the world. Whether you're located in Miami, LA, Lisbon, or Seoul, we want you to organize your own BubbleDAO events and foster meaningful diverse relationships in the Web3 space. As we build out IRL Bubble events across the world, we also intend to enable easier access to Web3 careers and education. This way, the entire Web3 industry will grow in diversity and members will gain more value in their involvement with Bubble.
Our vision is to increase diversity and inclusion not just in our Bubble community, but by infiltrating the entire Web3 space as a whole!
How we plan to do this is by becoming the gateway for new Web3 folks interested in learning about Web3 (they will have access to our community and events, as well as our educational resources) and becoming a DEI hiring talent pipeline for Web3 companies (through our partnerships with Web3 companies and the creation of a Web3 job posting board on our website).
