Today, I’m applying a Second Skin film to your tattoo.
🩹 If you have a tape allergy(or glue), you might experience itching or hives. If there are no symptoms, please keep the film on for about 24 hours.
🚿 Showering: You can shower with the film on. However, please remove and replace it if water gets inside or if excess fluid leaks out, as this could lead to infection.
🌿 How to replace the film: I’ve provided 2 extra sheets of film. If there is a lot of fluid or blood after the first day:
You can start applying tattoo ointment about 3 days after the procedure, once the scabs begin to form. 🧴 I highly recommend using Bepanthen.

This is a medical cream that can be used for tattoo aftercare in Korea! It’s readily available at most local pharmacies, and I highly recommend it because it works wonders for tattoo healing!🧴✨

⭐️Basic Aftercare
Keep your tattoo as hygienic, cool, ventilated, and dry as possible! Please remember this.
⭐️ Remove the film applied on the day of the tattoo after 24 hours. (It’s normal if fluid or leftover ink appears on the film when removed.)
⭐️ If you need to replace the film, rinse lightly under running water without soap (avoid direct shower), remove fluid, blood, and ink, then dry with a clean towel, kitchen paper, or air-dry before applying a new film. (When applying, try to avoid trapping air bubbles under the film.)
⭐️ Wear loose, breathable clothing that doesn’t rub or press against the tattoo.
⭐️ Avoid prolonged water exposure. Your skin is open until the color sets, so ink may fade. Retouching may be required later. (Avoid long baths!)
⭐️ After about 3 days, the fluid stops and scabs start forming. Once the fluid stops, apply Bepanthen or Panthenol-D thinly and several times a day, enough to make the skin slightly shiny. Applying thickly may block pores and cause heat rashes or inflammation. Natural airflow is important!
⭐️ In summer, avoid applying ointment—let the tattoo breathe. Protect it from UV exposure. (Like normal skin, tattoos can discolor from sun.)
⭐️ Avoid alcohol and exercise that can cause heat or inflammation for at least 2 weeks. Saunas, pools, the sea, or water parks are strictly prohibited for 1 month due to infection risk. Avoid activities with friction, sweat, or frequent movement.
⭐️ Inflammation can sometimes occur due to poor aftercare, skin type, or temporary health conditions. Usually, it heals naturally within 2–3 days. If you feel unwell, take anti-inflammatory medication.
⭐️ From weeks 2–4, peeling (skin shedding) occurs as the tattoo heals. Do not scratch or peel. Dense color styles may cause more peeling. If the peeling makes the tattoo appear faded, a retouch after healing can improve the result. Contact us for retouch within 1–3 months.
⭐️ For one month after the tattoo, treat it like a wound. Swelling, bruising, or heat rash may occur. Avoid unsanitary places such as gyms, saunas, pools, water parks, or the sea to prevent infection. Please keep these precautions in mind when booking your session.
⭐️Sun protection is essential during the healing process. To prevent the wounded area from scarring darkly and the colors from turning dull, please be extra careful not to expose it to too much sunlight. However, until the peeling process is completely finished, do not apply sunscreen to avoid irritating the skin; instead, please protect it by covering it with clothing.
